Enduro Bearings pioneered MAX type bearings over 20 years ago for bicycles to address the challenges associated with mountain bike pivots. MAX-type bearings provide 35-40% more load capacity than standard Angular-Contact bearings by utilizing a special design where the maximum number of balls are inserted into the bearing, via a custom ground slot in the races.

This bearing also features an extended inner race that eliminates the need for extra spacers to connect suspension linkages. This bearing has been used in the past as a suspension pivot bearing by Trek bicycles.
